I have a Nikon D90 and when i shoot in RAW format, the file extension is .NEF, which I am unable to open in PE7. Please advise. What am I doing wrong?

Kelly,
I use PE7 and have a D300. Here are the steps that I use to open the NEF files. From within the Organizer I first highlight the picture I want. Then I select “quick fix”. This will open the picture in camera RAW 4.5 to manipulate using camera RAW.
Hope that helps.
