Can you advise me on my set up? When you were doing some of the color edits, I couldn’t really see a difference on my screen. What adjustments do I need to do on my ViewSonic monitor or do I just not have a monitor with precise enough display to detect the changes? Thanks.

This is an absolutely wonderful tutorial, possibly the best I’ve ever seen from PET. The technique is just super. I’m going to watch it four or five more times and then try to begin applying it to my photos, especially for refining the colors in specific parts of the images. Thanks so much. Your instruction will improve all of my pictures, not only portraits, for years to come.

Excellent idea to use adjustment layers to change the colours so subtly .
    Thank you.

Thank you so much! I have many photos that are dark due to poor lighting in my house and I’m going to try these techniques on many of these photos.

I’m a new member of this site and I found your tutorial very helpful. Particularly making each change on a different layer.
