I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but when I get to step 8, OPT+CLK on Layer 2 eye icon, drag Layer 2 to the top, the face is covered with the gray mask.

You need to change the blend mode from normal to Soft LIght, and the gray will disappear.

I can’t get past part three. It says to hold Option and click on layer Mask button to get a black layer mask. my layer mask comes in as white. Now what?

II can’t get past 3. Cannot seem to paint on the layers mask.
