The Secret to Smoother Skin

By Matt Kloskowski  ·  Issue: January/February 2011 (V8N1)

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but when I get to step 8, OPT+CLK on Layer 2 eye icon, drag Layer 2 to the top, the face is covered with the gray mask.

You need to change the blend mode from normal to Soft LIght, and the gray will disappear.

A simple but VERY effective technique.

I can’t get past part three. It says to hold Option and click on layer Mask button to get a black layer mask. my layer mask comes in as white. Now what?
