Dave: This tutorial, Textured Text with Multiple Type Layers, is driving me nuts! I could do all the steps until I got to where I hoped to learn how to “Merge Text Layers into a Copy.” When I pressed Control-Alt-Shift-E, I got popped out of Elements and into a Vista spreadsheet. Which was just about the last thing I wanted (death being the last). What am I doing wrong?
Thanks for any help you can give me. Allen

Hi Allen,
I’m not quite sure how you got a keyboard shortcut that hijacked the Control-Shift-Alt-E, but I’ve tried it in two Vista setups, as well as an XP system for good measure, and it worked in all of them. Are you using a utility to change shortcuts? I found this support page on the Microsoft site about adding shortcuts.
I’ll do a little more digging, and let you know if I come up with anything.

Thanks, Dave.
I don’t have any keyboard shortcuts in Vista, but I’ll check the Microsoft support page, just in case.
I really enjoy learning from your tutorials!
