Do you have to adjust the resolution of other photos to 300 to be compatible with this technique?

Chuck – You can actually adjust the resolution of the layered effect PSD file to match your photo’s resolution. When you duplicate the PSD effect file, you can change that files resolution to whatever you’d like before placing your image!
