    I used this technique rather than the “Sketching Magic (July/August 2009)” on a photo of boats outside the Boathouse in NYC as I preferred the look and it had fewer steps to achieve a similar look.

    I used this technique on a photo and I think it turned out very good. I took out some objects but left the basic picture alone as far as color etc. Is there anyone that would have a look at it and give suggestions etc. Just starting out so any help would be great.
    I am planning to print this out on textured paper.
