Don’t get me wrong! I love videos. When I have nothing else to do I run an old video. This is a good video of a useful technique.

I previously commented about about losing the bottom part of the video window, but I fixed that by killing some of the Firefox browser toolbars.

However, Matt’s videos and only Matt’s videos, often stop loading and playing in midstream. Videos often take over 5 minutes to finish loading after a mid-play pause so that the second half can be enjoyed. Any suggestions?

Wow, I’m having a lot of trouble with this video. As Charles mentioned, the video will play for a while, then go silent for 5 – 8 seconds and then start playing again, leaving a gap in the presentation which can’t be seen or heard. I remember watching this in the old format and not having any problem with it.

Previously, I had commented on another video that I couldn’t get it to play correctly, then realized I needed to download the video. After that, I have not had any problems with the videos until this one today. I know all of you at PS Element User are working to rectify the video problems. Thank you for your hard work.

      Cindy,

The video is the same one from the old site – we didn’t re-do them at all, so I don’t know what the issue might be with it this time around.

Were you able to download the video and watch it ok? I’d try that.

It does seem that most people are able to view the videos without problem; there are just some issues with a few folks, and we’re trying to figure those out without causing more havoc.

      Thanks for your patience,
      rick

        Rick,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I had downloaded the video yesterday, and had the problems as described above. I tried it again just now and had NO problems. Don’t know what was happening yesterday.
Thanks for your continued hard work. I love the videos and I have learned a ton of info from them.

Video stops in the middle and doesn’t continue loading.

Thanks for this great video. I had trouble watching the first one, but when I opened in a new window it worked fine. This was interesting and a great way to let people know more about you. I may have to give it a try when I get better at editing my pics.

    Hello,
I really want to start adding an unobtrusive watermark to my photos. I did open the video done in 2009 but the right side of the image is cut off. Also, I have Elements 5 and was having trouble following the steps. Do you have specific instructions for doing this in Elements 5?
Thank you very much for any help
    Peggy

I can’t watch this video. It starts up and then stops. Any idea why and how can I watch it? Thank you.

I am also having trouble watching this, even a downloaded copy. It seems to cut off after about 51 seconds. Any chance you could provide a cheatsheet for this one?

It looks fine from here, but I re-encoded the video and uploaded it again. Let me know if that helps.

This is a great video and very helpful. I have had photos stolen from websites; now, they may not want them so bad.
