While I’m watching the video only part of the screen is shown. When you are moving the boxes more comes in view but I can’t see the stuff on the right in advance mode.

Below the images on each video page is the text:

Problems viewing this video? Try opening it in a new window.

Using this option will allow lower resolution monitors to view the videos.

HELP!!! I joined this site thinking your tutorials would save me (project due in 2 days). Had Elements 6, couldn’t get it to work. Downloaded Elements 8 thinking it would match up with your tutorials. NOPE! On the opening screen of Elements 8 (same problem with #6), I seem to be missing a tool bar – I don’t have the “home” symbol as well as several others (like the “File” button that would lead me to the “From files & folders button”). I have clicked everywhere, as has my husband, and cannot find anything that will bring in those icons. This program is virtually dead in the water without them. I cannot bring any iphoto pictures over into Elements to work with because of this. The only thing it offers is to bring in photos off of a camera – which I don’t need right now. Can you give me ANY insight as to why my screen doesn’t match up to the screen you show in your tutorial??
    Would much appreciate it!!

I have no toolbar in the organizer, either. How do I activate it?

I just purchased and downloaded elements 9. to my computer. There’s no toolbar. How do I get the toolbar so I can use the software and get my pictures loaded to elements? So far I can’t do anything with this program.

Hi – just subscribed and the videos I’ve watched so far are great – thank you!

Just one question – I have iPhoto on my Macbook and want to switch over to using Elements 9 on the iMac. Much better system, faster, more memory etc., so more suited to big files. But how do I get the thousands of photos from iPhoto on the Macbook into the Elements organiser on the iMac…?

    Thanks for your help.

I have photoshop elements 9. I have uploaded/imported thousands of images previously. BUT now when I try to import images as I have the many times before, the organizer gives me an error

“nothing was imported/ the files or folders selected to import did not contain any supported file types, or the files are already in this catalog.”

These are NEW images that have not been imported previously, and they are RAW images. As I stated previously, I have done everything the same as I have in the past (which was successful), but now no new images will be imported into organizer.

    PLEASE HELP!

    Thank you,

    Cindy
