I’m going to try this in the vacation album I’am working on. Looks pretty easy.

    hi matt
i have tried the tutorial, but i cant seem to locate the clipping mask in layers.
    i am using elements 7.
are there any crib sheets for this tutorial,it would save a lot of stop/start of the tutorial
to write down the steps reuired.
i enjoy the web site, some good information available to us newbies.

I cannot open any of the video on my new windows 7 HP computer. I downloaded Apple QT Browser plug in seveal times, and tried the alternative PER video browser and to no avail. I also sent an email a couple days ago requesting help and advicel. I am asking again for help about what to do and how to resolve this issue. On other websites, I am able to wath videos so the problem appears to be with this site. Help, and thank you in advance.

      Hi Alan,
I had the same problems with the QT-plugin. I installed it but it did not work in Internet Explorer (IE).
I found a solution, try to open the IE 32-bits version instead of the 64-bits (both versions are in your Programs list), install the QT plugin in this 32-bits version and it will work without any problem.

Good luck and let me know if it helped you ?

      regards, Dick

I think this is great. I wish it was easy to find these directions in text that I could print off and refer to whenever I want to without continually referring back to the video.

I found 2 errors in the CHEAT SHEET. The step to fill the Background layer with white has been omitted, and the note in Step 7 should read “……….Elements 7 and earlier,………..”. Elements 8 says “Create Clipping Mask”.

    Regards, Chuck
