I really liked this tutorial. Thank you.

The use of OPT-DEL on a Mac along with a selection is new to me. I wish that there had been more explanation exactly how it worked, adding more and more darkness by repeating the operations.

Hope to see more tutorial of this high quality.

I must be missing somthing. At stage 5 when I press ctrl D, I simply loose my selection and the background layer does not show through.
