I get to point #5 (page29) of the Jan/Feb issue, & to me, the “drag…” is not done. What am I doing wrong?

I’m sorry you’re having trouble Robert. Just to make sure we are both at the right spot, your Layers palette should have two layers (Background, and above that, Background Copy with a reversed image) and your canvas should be twice as wide as the photo. Is that what you see? You may need to zoom out so you can see the whole canvas area.
If that’s all there, press the V key on the keyboard, make sure the top layer in the Layers palette is highlighted, and then click on the image and drag it to the left into the blank canvas space.
If that doesn’t work, perhaps you can describe to me in more detail what happens so I can figure out what’s going wrong.

This is a very interesting endeavor. I was so intrigued by it that I have made 13 of these so far and I have gotten some pretty good results on some of them. Very nice tutorial!! Thanks!

I’m glad you’ve enjoyed it! I find it a bit addictive, too. I hope you’ll share some of your creations in the gallery. I’d love to see them.
