Boost Your Elements Experience with Plug-Ins

By Mike Rodriguez  ·  Issue: March/April 2010 (v7n2)

Plug-ins aren’t just for Photoshop; a number of companies make great add-ons for Elements that let you create works of art, build masks, correct colors, and a whole lot more.

I am just learning Elements 8, so the basic tutorials you are creating are a very great asset to me. I feel like a large part of your subscribers are still in the basic category, so please keep them coming. I look forward to the time I can accomplish to some extent what I need to do without searching a book or trying to find out how it is done. THANKS Shan

Bill – Perhaps by now someone has jumped in to help but if not – I also received the On One Photo Essentials 3 offer with my subscription renewal. The license number is on a sticker on the back of the sleeve containing the disc. I gotta tell you I’ve been using it for at least six months and have been very pleasantly surprised by it. I wasn’t expecting much from a ‘freebie’ but find I use it frequently, particularly the “Make It Cool” features. Hope you’ve got it working by now. Donn

I am a bit behind most of you, so forgive me if this is old news. I have only just discovered this magazine, my copy of essentials 3 has just arrived and I loaded it onto my G5 Mac OSX 10.4.11. this was not a very good idea as this software will not run on any pre intel Mac’s, despite onone software claiming in some read me and installation notes that it can. The dvd will make a nice coaster though.

My copy of essentials 3 locks up my computers every time that I install it. Especially when using the cut it out portion, anyone else having this problem?
