I just watched the video on camera RAW. Only 3/4 of the movie was showing. I could not enlarge the frame.

I could not find the photo gallery. Is it gone?

Are all the old instructional video’s still available? I could only find a few.

    So far – not impressed.

I am really interested in this technique but when I try to open a second copy of a raw file nothing happens. I only see the first image. I am using PSE8. Can anyone help me?

Using the technique can be a great asset to creating the kind of shot you are trying to achieve. By using the Raw image, you have so many more possibilities available to you. It does take some getting use to doing everything in the right order, but having the video instruction is a very great help. The only problem I had was that PSE-8 does not process 16 bit raw images, they must be converted to 8 bit. This you can do as part of your Raw adjustments, so that you keep the original as a 16 bit negative, with all the information available.

Very interesting technique. I never use raw, but now I’m going to try it.

      Thomas,

While PS has some incredible depth camera RAW gives you so much latitude, it really is like giving you a dark room for your pc. I don’t shoot without it.

I have just started to shoot in RAW, I purchased PSE version 8 last year and version 9 this year. I dont have much time to experiment. This video was good, but at the same time it was over my head. I need to find a video on the basics of editing in RAW. I dont yet understand what effect the sliders have on the images.

I found this tutorial very informative. I’ve only just bought PSE 9 and started shooting in RAW so this has helped me. I would also like to see a basic guide to editing in RAW for us newbies to the RAW format
