Making a Simple Lace Mat
Lace mats are quite popular in scrapbooking so I thought that I would do a tutorial showing you how to make a simple brush and then use that brush to make some lace for trimming a mat.

Wonderful scrapbooking template! I love this lace mat and will be looking for more lace, ribbon, flowers and background, how to’s. I wish that these tutorials had pdf downloads, but I’ve been printing them. What a large folder! lol
Yes – I’ve been following many of your tuts, but haven’t left many messages. I’m sorry! But please know that I love them all and am having a hoot experimenting with the designs. Please keep your wonderful tuts coming and if you feel like attaching the occasional pdf., I won’t mind at all.
Thanks again and have a great day! :-)

I had some trouble with spacing of the brush, but thanks to one of your other tutorials, I knew how to deal with that. I used 110, which made my flowers closer together, but I wanted to get seven across the top like like is shown in the tutorial. I ended up resizing my mat so my flowers wouild line up on the right side. Stroking of the lowered opacity flowers came out very nice. I made my first brush set, with “flower brush” being its first member.
