Creating Slide Mounts

By Dave Cross  ·  February 16th, 2006

Here’s a pretty cool way to show off your images: make “fake” slide mounts. It’s pretty simple to do, and you can save the mount for use over and over again.

I really would like to learn how to do this. I have Photoshop Elements 7 but I can’t seem to get this tutorial to work. In step 5 I don’t know how to keep shape layer active (shape 2) and click beside slide layer (I’m guessing is shape 1) without highlighting that layer. what am i missing?

The tutorial is very good. However as a service for subscribers a free down load template would be great. I fhave found several photo magazines that have free templates from time to time and I have collected as many as I can. It save a lot of time and I get to use them right away.

One other comment I like the sample photos of the use of this template they are very good.
