One of the big enhancements in Version 8 is a redesigned look (inherited from Photoshop CS4), including the new tabbed document feature.

The New Look, Part 2

Elements 8 has some other changes to its look; among them new ways to rearrange your panels (formerly known as palettes).

The Updated Organizer (Windows)

Adobe didn't forget about managing your pictures: they pumped up the Organizer with some great new features as well.

The Recompose Tool

Elements new Recompose tool lets you resize and adjust the orientation of your photos without distorting the important stuff!

Photomerge Exposure

This feature easily lets you blend multiple versions of the same scene into one properly exposed photo.
