Several movies that I have downloaded has no volume after about the first 30 sec … Could you tell me what I might be doing wrong ??

No, it’s not all – check out Kelly’s blog post for more (all our Elements 9 material is available via this link).
We really can’t tell you whether it makes sense for you to upgrade or not. I really like this version – it’s the nicest upgrade in a while overall – and if you’re coming from Versions 5, 6 or 7, it’s a definite improvement. If you’re using Version 8 and happy with it, I can understand why you might want to pass on Version 9.

When I click the play button and the screen opens half of the picture I cannot see. Can you help

If you’re only getting part of the video screen, try either clicking on the F11 key (which will make the video full screen), or click on the link underneath the video screen shot that says ”Problems viewing this video? Try opening it in a new window.”
