Adding Whimsical Scribbles to a Photo
Matt shows you how to dress up a photo with some fun “doodle art.”
If you have a Wacom or other tablet, you can easily create your own doodles on your computer, or you can draw them on paper and use a scanner or digital camera to get them on your computer.
The flower doodle file Matt uses in the video can be found on iStockphoto for a small fee. Another nice set of low-cost sketched letters can be found on ClipartOf.com.
We’ve included two free clip-art files you can also use for this tutorial; just click on the image below to view them, and right-click to save the files as a JPG on your computer.

Tried to watch video, it didn’t load. Then I got an error message that said that IE encountered a problem and had to shut down. :o((

That’s odd, Charlotte. Try clicking the “Download this movie” link and see if it will play on your computer in QuickTime Player or Windows Media Player ok.

No problems viewing in either IE or Firefox.
I would add something – if you want to keep your doodle black, then don’t invert and change the blend mode to multiply instead.

Just one questions, well may be more… How do you get the “scribbles” page and the photo open at the same time? , I am SO new and I have so many questions, Like how do you open two photos at the same time, in the same window? and merge them?, How do you change the background of a photo?, Basics to some, a mystery to me…
Help, Thank you !!
