Searching within topic pages
We added a new search feature to the site this week, letting you search within any topic or category (including videos, Web tutorials and PDFs).
If you go to any of the topic pages (I took a screenshot of the Elements Add-ons page below), you’ll see a “Search within” box right above the list of articles. Simply type the word or phrase you’re looking for and press Enter or Return, and you’ll get a list of results only within that topic.
This also works on the pages for videos, Web tutorials and PDFs, as well as on the Magazine page. We think will really help when you want to find a specific video that you’re sure you saw, or when you want to get to an article you remember from the magazine, but can’t remember which issue it was in.
By default, the items on each topic page are in chronological order, with the most recent at the top of the list. If you look to the right of the topic name, you’ll see a link for “View most popular,” which will show the list in order of the highest-ranked.
We made one other small tweak this week, bumping up the number of items on the listing pages to 20 (from 15). I know some people would like it if we just put all the items on one page, but with nearly 1,000 videos and other tutorials–and more coming every month–it would take so long to load that people would get turned off the site pretty quickly. (This was one of the reasons we wanted to get the new search feature installed as quickly as possible.)
While I’m talking about finding things, I did want to point you to a feature that has been on the new site since we launched it, but that maybe you’ve missed: tags. As we add new content (videos, PDFs, and other tutorials), we give it a primary topic, but we also give it anywhere from one to five ‘tags’ to help further categorize the content.
When you get on any page with a video or article, underneath the title, you’ll see a “Related Tags” area; click on any of the tags to get a list of all the Photoshop Elements Techniques content that also has that tag.

Clicking on one of a story's tags will open a list of all content with the same tag.
This can be a great way to explore the site when you’re looking for some deeper information on a specific area. Here, you can see a list of related articles based on the blend modes and illustrations tags, for example.
Have a great weekend!

I would really like it if there was a text-only list of the titles of all the tutorials so I could paste the list into Microsoft OneNote with checkboxes and easily keep track of those I have already viewed.

I am a new subscriber and was wondering if there is a way to go back and get older tutorials?
