New video from Corey and more
One of the things I love about Corey is that he’s very much a “design guy,” and he has a great eye for those little things that really add some interest to a collage or image montage. He definitely shows that off with his latest video, “Adding Simple Design Elements to Your Photos,” which uses a simple little swirl as a lovely border accent.
This new video is a nice companion to Corey’s piece from a few weeks ago, “Creating a Mosaic Effect as a Design Element.”
If you like these types of tutorials, check out the Design and Layout topic (available via our Topics page), which has lots of videos and other tutorials for building cool layouts and other creations.
This past week, we also added the last of the PDF tutorials from the May/June issue: “Wiping Glasses’ Glare,” “Tool Tips: Image Size,” and the always-inspiring “Subscriber Showcase.”
(If you’re looking to brush up on some of the core tools in the Photoshop Elements Toolbox and menus, we have a bunch of articles that are great overviews, listed under the tool tips tag. The Image Size article is the latest, and we’re always working on more.)
Lastly, as I noted a couple of weeks ago, we’re working on adding a bunch of “lost” tutorials from the old version of the site. In the last week, the following scrapbooking tutorials were re-added to the site:
- Making A Button
- Making a Baby Banner
- Making Glossy Buttons
- Making Rick Rack Braid
- Making Tags
- Making a Tab
- Making an Envelope
- Making a Card for the Envelope
- Making a Dummy (Pacifier)
- Making Needles & Pins
- Making A Metallic Border or Ribbon –
Have a wonderful — and safe — 4th of July!
