July/August extras, PDF Posted

By Rick LePage  ·  July 20th, 2010

The July/August 2010 issue should be arriving in subscriber mailboxes in the coming week, and I wanted to let you know that we’ve posted all of the print extras for the issue on the V7N4 magazine page (just check the Extras section of the page). If you’re still waiting for your copy to arrive, you can download the full PDF of the issue from that page as well.

We’ll be posting the individual articles in the coming weeks, but today I uploaded Diana Day’s excellent feature from the magazine, which covers the Brush Tool in all its glory. This is one of those articles I think you’ll want to save for future reference; it’s that good.

Remember that it can take up to three weeks for magazines to reach the various parts of the US and around the globe; we’re happy to send out replacement issues that the postal services somehow lose, but please be patient. (If you subscribed after July 3, we’ll be doing a second mailing of the July/August issue during the first week in August.)

If you’re not a subscriber, and want to check out our most recent issues, we’re currently offering all of 2010′s issues in PDF form for only $3 each in the Elements Techniques store! That’s more than half off the regular price! (And all subscribers get access to every back issue of the magazine, free with any subscription.)

The link to the PDF says no file is available for download. I have a relatively new subscription, but my last issue never showed up. When I contacted PET, though, they confirmed my sub is current and immediately sent out a replacement issue. Great service and great magazine! I hope the mail carrier doesn’t steal this issue too…. ;-)

How can I do this? Is there a code for subscribers to use in their cart?

I absolutely LOVE this magazine! Wish I had more time to play with all the techniques, but you don’t want to even try to talk to me when it comes in the mail. I am absorbed!
